Bring it on.

One week into his Presidency - there are some very scary things boiling up in Barry's Brew.

1. The Stimulus plan looks more like a Spending Bill where only about 12 cents of every dollar can actually be credited to Stimulus. It's just pork. If this goes through - it will be my grandchildren paying this off.

2. The Treasury secretary is a confessed tax evader in charge of the IRS.

3. The Secertary of State has more conflicts of interest in conducting international relations than any before her.

4. The President of the Unites States met with Congressional Republicans and told them "not to listen to Rush Limbaugh."

Rush Limbaugh cannot sign a paper and increase my taxes, fund pro-abortion organizations, promote global warming legislation, give billions to banks, auto makers, or any other former capitalist venture gone begging for money.

I am absolutely indignant that a man as shallow as Barry is President and calls out a private citizen for a quasi-censure.

Why is Obama soo afraid of a private citizen? It's pretty simple: if Obama does not get Republican support for his spending bill - then the republicans will run on the certain failure of this bill in the next election cycle. It is sure to fail and Obama's idea of bipartisan support is shared blame when it fails. In all honesty - who can take a serious look at history and conclude that gov't spending will help right now? FDR proved that gov't intervention prolongs recession periods. FDR's programs didn't create prosperity - AMERICANS DID. This New New Deal is a bad idea.

5. The Democrat party set up an on line petition for people to file written complaints against Rush Limbaugh for his unkind words "I hope he fails" in response to the overwhelming positive reception to Barry's new administration.

I have been clear since I looked into Barry's platform that he is dangerous for our country. I guess this makes me a target for him and his anti-free speech Democrat Party.

I am honored to be on the right side of our Constitution in my political speech while elected officials and party officials try to silence dissent.

Bring it on.

My apologies to Barry

I watched the oath of office again and I owe Barry an apology. The Honorable Chief Justice did make the initial mistake and it was not Barry's fault. Sorry.

What happened to poetry?

Elizabeth Alexander read her poem at the innaug. yesterday. She is very accomplished in her work.

I will set my timer for exactly 3 minutes to limit the brain damage required to pen my prose.

Excerpt from POEM #1 WHO WROTE THIS? ME or Liz?

Jax on the prairie calls - forlorn in it's golden ray? Never
a doubt. Clouds conjoin in twisted play pith and myrth
I am a part. Windmill creaks nature's heft. Star of day
leads the line. Old tractor under foot? New sky above, now
air. Rusted rich soil in the nail. I exhale the depth
of it all, the depth of growth, mother,

on your luster and bounty.

TAKE A BREAK - AND BANG YOUR HEAD AGAINST A HARD OBJECT BEFORE SUBJECTING YOURSELF TO MORE OF THIS.

Excerpt from POEM #2 WHO WROTE THIS? ME or Liz?

Did you tea-dance that day? Write poems
in the sunlight? Vamp with strangers? There is
sun under your skin like the gold Sula
found beneath Ajax's black. I calibrate
the weight of your beautiful bones, the weight
of your elbow, Melvin,

on Darrell's brown shoulder.

So, now that you have read two poems - one written by a genius and one by a novice mocking a genius - cast your vote in the response box below. I will unveil the true poet by Friday.

It took me 3 minutes and 15 seconds - by the way......

Noggie Day

Barry Hussein Obama botched his oath. Say what you want about Bush - this guy is even worse off-prompter - even when someone is feeding him the words 2.5 feet away. I found it ironic that the event had so many blue shacks. Appropriate choice of receptacle for the day.

Barry - you have been elevated to the highest political office in the land.

By default - you are now in my prayers out of reverence and respect for the office of President.

God Bless America.

Cannot Sleep - just too excited....

Too excited about ushering in a new era of HOPE and Stuart Smally mental anguish. Didn't he dig up more names to get elected in MN? Anyway -

Wolf plural is Wolves
Calf plural is Calves
Hoof plural is Hooves
A belief - he, she, it believes
Loaf plural is Loaves
Grief - he, she, it grieves
Grief plural is grievances.... dude!
Thief plural is Thieves
Wife plural is Wives
Knife plural is Knives
Life plural is Lives

But Leaf plural is Leafs and Chief plural is Chiefs. The English Language and plurality are very versatile.

Socialist plural is a group waiting for a handout or to spend someone else's money
Communist plural just organized a prison camp for dissidents (conservatives)
Liberal plural is offended somehow and looking for legislative action
Feminist plural is a scary thought
ACLU plural is a class action lawsuit
Jesse Jackson plural is Al Sharpton a bit taller
San Fran. plural is putting on another parade - FAAAABULUSSSSS
California plural has twice the deficit
The 9th Circuit of Appeals plural is shredding the Constitution
Bill Clinton plural just sexually harassed himself - too good to resist....
Hillary Clinton plural just moved into a separate house from the first Hillary to get away
Blago plural just doubled down his bet

And Obama plural is a scary thought. One term; not two. I hope he fails in all that he attempts to do. That is cold - hard - partisanship. I am a conservative and I am not getting on the bus with Obama. I listened to him on his campaign. I know what he stands for. I know what his policies are. I know that he intends to implement them. I will fight in this arena of ideas against those who agree and voted him into office.

Good luck Barry. I'm out to counter your beliefs - another good use of the plural.....

No thanks, Hanks.

Tom Hanks is an actor with a loud Political Voice. He is really good at what he does: play pretend in front of a camera. As absurd as it sounds, people who pretend to be others on the big screen have a credibility boost when it comes to political pursuasion.

Please do not take this as a personal attack on Mr. Hanks. He is villified in the local press for some disputes with a local contractor - the locals hate him enough. I just love the hypocrisy of the Hollywood Elite.

Politics is showbiz for the ugly (just think about Madeline Albright and Janet Reno). Show biz therefore is an entry point for the beautiful to the political stage - Hollywood gets to bypass the trenches of warfare in the arena of ideas and go strait to the microphone for their many sound bites. Hollywood is the only competitve group I know of that gives out awards to themselves.

I nominate Ben Petzinger for best bald head of 2008! That's ugly! - I'm now very qualified for politics!

So, Tom Hanks jumped up on the political stage and called Mormons who participated financially in the DEMOCRATIC PROCESS for the approval of Proposition 8 (look it up yourselves) as UN-AMERICAN. He also called the Constitution "Self Correcting". Let's explore these two ideas.....

UN-AMERICAN. I'll quote Tom from one of his stirring moments on the big screen. "THERE'S NO CRYING IN POLITICS!!!". Ya, I know - baseball. His strike out is the notion that a demographic united in purpose and funds which had an effect on the outcome of an election is somehow UN-AMERICAN. In this case - no person was elected, but Mormons (not all) mobilized to support and protect the definition of marriage. An IDEA was protected. Gay Marriage is an affront to the traditional definition of marriage. Enough people in California agreed with the notion that the definition of traditional marriage should be preserved. WE LIVE IN A REPUBLIC. WE HOLD ELECTIONS and THEY HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

SELF-CORRECTING CONSTITUTION. I'll have to get into this another day. Lunch is over. But let me say one thing: The Constitution is not a suicide note.

Tom Hanks - thank you for your opinion that registered voters and private citizens of the U.S.A. who freely donated to a cause they believed in are UN AMERICAN. This is definitely "Crying in Politics" and you should be embarassed.

It would be interesting to know if Tom has donated to a cause and won. Does that make him UN AMERICAN in winning over an unorganized and out-voted minority.

THE MAJORITY RULES - THE MINORITY HAS RIGHTS. You have a right to re-group and defeat Proposition 8. That is the AMERICAN WAY and Mr. Hanks is a hypocrite.

He should have some RANTZ with his NUGGETS AND KOOL AID.
